Whether you’re on a leafy trail, navigating city sidewalks, or barefoot on the sand, walking meditation is about presence and pace. Eyes open. Mind focused. Phone tucked away (unless you're plugging into my guided track !)
Try this next time you're out:
Feel your feet fully connecting with the earth.
Scan your body from soles to scalp. What’s tight, what’s soft, what’s telling you something?
Let thoughts drift by like passing cars—note them, but don’t invite them in for tea.
If your pace picks up, notice the shift: Does your heartbeat quicken? Is your breath riding the rhythm?
How do your legs carry you through motion and meaning?
Then, as you reach your destination, begin to slow. Feel your energy grounding again. Let your awareness settle like dust in golden light.

Right after your walking meditation—once you’ve slowed your pace, grounded your breath, and kissed the Earth one last time with your steps—grab your journal. 1. What sensations or emotions came up as I walked with awareness?
Reflect on your body's language and your inner landscape. Was there tension, clarity, resistance, release?
2. What did I notice in my surroundings that mirrored something I needed to hear or feel?
Nature (or even the urban buzz) often delivers subtle messages when we slow down enough to listen.
3. What deeper truth about myself or my current path emerged through movement?
Did your walk reveal something about your direction, mindset, or next right step?
